Since the start of the Covid pandemic and the cessation of in-person live performances, Santa Cruz Baroque Festival has been presenting online concerts. Every Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 11am, from Bach’s birthday through Thanksgiving weekend (March 21 – November 28) we presented the Online Concert Hall. Mostly, these are concerts recorded from past seasons, but about once a month, we have presented a live performance, staged and recorded in a socially distant manner.
We’re now taking a pause from the online concert hall as we get ready for our regular season, beginning February 21. With a new, indoor venue, and revamped technical setup (sound, lights, video, and broadcasting) we’re getting ready to deliver an exciting and high-fidelity series of online concerts.
